Sad demise of another social media site

This is sad news as ismMAGIC was a really unique social media platform but it only takes one bad apple to spoil the barrel unfortunately.

I sincerely wish  Russel Chapman and Peter Kassner well and good luck for the future during these difficult times.

Welcome to the Final ismMagic / Rican Newsletter As I am sure most of you are now aware Richard Cannon the CEO of Rican Business Ventures was detained by the UK police on 6th June 2014 and charged with two counts of fraud. Today’s preliminary hearing at Bristol Crown Court (case no T20140634) was adjourned until the 29th July 2014 pending ongoing investigation. At this stage we understand the police are investigating and attempting to trace all assets of the Rican Group companies. Any assets that may exist in Rican Business Ventures are and will be under effective control of the UK authorities. The two Rican Group Companies of which I am still a director Rican Business Ventures and ismMagic have no useable or realisable assets. Both ismAdsIncome and RicanAdFunds sites are down as a result of non payment of hosting fees although the police have access to the data files. ismMagic also has unpaid hosting fees and as a result I am sad to announce that the site will be closing on or before 12th July 2014. I cannot take the site over as there are issues around its legal ownership, although I retain ownership of the domain name. I should like to take this opportunity to thank all the members for their support. Peter Kassner & I • will be providing an ongoing update with regard to the Rican / ismMagic situation at http://ismmagic.kastechconsultants.com (registration required to view information) • are investigating the possibility of producing a replacement for ismMagic with other associated earning opportunities. Progress on this will be posted on the above site. We apologise to all members for what has transpired at Rican a situation that has cost both us and you dearly. We trust that the new ventures we are exploring will enable you to participate in what will be profitable earning opportunities for all. We look forward to providing you with positive news and opportunities.
